Advocate for families.  Advocate for improvement.


AIM gathers and records the stories from every family willing to share.  We respect these stories and believe they represent voices that cannot otherwise be heard.  We aim to take them to the highest level, in order to provide first hand accounts of the tragedies and near-tragedies that happen every day within our current maternity system.

 

  • We will continue to provide a thorough support network for families who are looking for answers, for help or for guidance, and tailor this support to the individual needs of each family. 
  • We will continue to research information pertaining to the maternity field and pass that information on to the public and the policy makers in a form that is clear, concise and easy to understand
  • We will pursue every avenue and opportunity to improve education, communication and legislation that is currently holding New Zealand back from truly leading the world in maternity care
